SOCYo yo yo! What up, y’all, Today, we gon’ talk about’em: NWA and this intriguing and interesting movie that’s about to come out. Ain’t nothing but G thang goin’ on right here, huh! I personally have been waiting for this flick for a long time. We ain’t gon’ waste ya time! Git ready for Straight Outta Compton.

However, we ain’t gon’ center upon NWA this time, but I do recommend this documentary about The World’s Most Dangerous Group. The group NWA emerges from the streets of Compton, California in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes pop culture with their music and tales about life in the ‘hood. For further information on the NWA, which stands for Niggaz With Attitude, watch the documentary below. By the way, it is narrated by Chris Rock, the same narrator for Everybody Hates Chris.

Straight Outta Compton is the debut studio album by American hip hop group N.W.A, released on August 8, 1988 on group member Eazy-E‘s record label Ruthless Records. Production for the album was handled by Dr. Dre with DJ Yella giving co-production. The album has been viewed as the pioneering record of gangsta rap with its ever-present profanity and violent lyrics. It has been considered groundbreaking by music writers and has had an enormous impact on the evolution of West Coast hip hop.

So, are you ready for August 14, 2015, when the movie will be released in the theaters in the U.S? I am so ready and willing to watch it. I bet theaters all over America will be packed. Peep out the trailer and see what I am talking about:

We’re cruisin’ down the street, baby! Eazy-E came up with this a while ago and he made it clear huh! That was the beginning of Gangsta Rap.

But come on, you think this is too gangsta for you? I have found another version that might make you feel like it is a soft-ass song.  Watch it and giggle if you like!

Ok ok. Before we dash off, I gotta confess that the picture above of Compton area is actually the CD cover that DR.DRE is coming up with. This is COMPTON: THE SOUNDTRACK inspired by Straight Outta Compton
